We wrote this song on 14 May 2018 at the asylum center. I brought a researcher from Germany to participate and observe the songwriting process. This was a really incredible day of language and culture sharing. Residents shared words in several languages, and they were very patient in helping Sarah and I to pronounce the phrases they wrote.
